> Mihir Misran is a Computer Science Engineering student at Adichunchanagiri Institute of Technology (VTU, 2024 - 2028) in Karnataka, India. He builds full-stack products and AI tools that run locally, and is open to SDE internships and collaborations.

Achievements: Winner, Smart India Hackathon 2026 Internal Hackathon, with ORBIS. Freelance web developer with six live client sites. State-level basketball player. Black belt in karate.

- **Software Engineering Intern, Web Application Development**, Capulus Technologies Private Limited (Oct 2025 - Apr 2026): Worked on UniSphere, a full-stack campus collaboration platform, while it went through a full redesign. Migrated the backend from PHP to Groovy and Grails as part of a full platform redesign. Worked across announcements, events, lost & found, resource sharing, real-time chat and role-based auth. Contributed to the mobile application.
- **Freelance Web Developer**, Independent: I design and build websites for local businesses, mostly around Chikmagalur: homestays, a hotel and restaurant, a tour and bus-hire company, a preschool and a non-profit. Six client sites, all live. Each one built and launched end to end: design, development, hosting and handover.
- **PR Head, PR & Media Team**, Aarohana Foundation (2024 - Present): Lead the PR & Media Team for a youth-driven non-profit and coordinate content planning. Wrote the "Run & Rally" content strategy covering event flow, reel concepts and social media planning.

- **ORBIS** (Offline AI learning platform for Grades 1 to 10), [code](https://github.com/TarunDavid/ORBIS): ORBIS is an offline-first, bilingual AI learning platform for students in Grades 1 to 10. It offers local tutoring, quizzes, flashcards, weak-concept analysis, progress analytics and mentor insights. It keeps working in low-connectivity environments through .orbis content packages and chunked, resumable content synchronization. Tech: React, TypeScript, Django, DRF, SQLite, Qwen2.5, llama.cpp, Whisper, Piper TTS, FAISS, Tailwind CSS.
- **Alfred** (Autonomous local AI assistant), [code](https://github.com/cybersleuth25/ALFRED): Alfred is a privacy-first AI assistant designed to run without cloud inference or external AI services. It combines local LLM inference, speech-to-text, semantic search and document retrieval with automation workflows, so it can carry out multi-step tasks on your own machine. Tech: Python, Ollama, Qwen, Vosk, ONNX Runtime, Vector Search.
- **FounderOS** (AI startup validation platform), [code](https://github.com/cybersleuth25/FounderOS): FounderOS helps founders validate a startup idea before committing to it. It runs market research, competitor analysis and risk assessment, and turns the results into structured insights. OCR-based document processing and asynchronous analysis pipelines run on Celery and Redis inside a modular Django backend. Tech: Python, Django, DRF, SQLite, Tailwind CSS, Celery, Redis, Gemini API, Hugging Face Transformers.
- **NGO Platform** (Full-stack NGO management platform): A full-stack management system for NGOs that handles digital memberships, volunteer coordination, events and administrative workflows. Events use QR-based attendance, certificates are generated automatically, and administrators and volunteers each get their own role-based dashboard. Tech: Django, Python, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, SQLite.

During my internship at Capulus Technologies I migrated its backend from PHP to Groovy and Grails as part of a full platform redesign, and contributed to the mobile application. - **KaalNetra** (A history game where your choices change what happens), [code](https://github.com/cybersleuth25/KaalNetra): KaalNetra means "Eye of Time". The first scenario puts you in the war council at Chittorgarh in 1567, with the same limits the defenders had: not enough supplies, pressure from all sides and missing information. You read the historical context and primary sources, make the calls, and each turn the simulation shows what they changed. At the end your timeline sits beside the documented one. An AI helper can explain your options without making the choice for you. Tech: React, TypeScript, FastAPI, Phaser, Recharts, Tailwind CSS.
- **INTAZAAM** (Restaurant ordering and point-of-sale system): INTAZAAM runs a restaurant from the counter to the kitchen. Staff take dine-in and takeaway orders, the kitchen works from a live ticket board that can read new orders aloud, and bills are issued and settled from the same screens. Each table has its own QR code so customers can order themselves. One account can run several restaurants, and every member of staff, from owner to waiter to kitchen, only sees what their role allows.
